Lake Taihu is located approximately 60 miles west of Shanghai.  

 

The Lake Taihu region in Jiangsu boasts a long, rich cultural history and is home to many beautiful traditional water towns. Since ancient times, it has been a prosperous economic hub and a favorite gathering place for celebrated poets, scholars, and artists. Today, the local government has built a highly developed network of dedicated cycling paths, and the area hosts an annual cycling race around the lake.

Event Dates: October 10 – October 24, 2026  
Gathering Point: Shanghai  

Arrival Airport: Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG)  
 

Departure Transfer: On the morning of October 24, we will take a group bus together to Pudong Airport or downtown Shanghai.  
 

Cycling Terrain: The route around Lake Taihu is very flat with no major climbs; e-bikes are not necessary.  

Group Size: A minimum of 20 registered participants.  

Estimated Cost: Approximately CNY 11,000 or USD $1,620.  
Bike Rental: Non-eBike rental is available for CNY 1,200 or USD $180.  
 

Airport Pick-up: We will arrange private shuttle service to pick you up from the airport.
