Italy 2025

Dates: May 26 - June 5, 2025.
Description
The Marche region is in Central Italy, just south of San Marino along the eastern side across the Adriatic from Croatia. This region of Italy is less known but very beautiful and less crowded, the quality of the sightseeing is comparable to Tuscany. Every hilltop has a medieval village and each has stunning views. The same applies to the city of Monte San Pietrangeli that has around 2000 inhabitants.
The area was a supplier to the Vatican state of agricultural products until the Mid 1800s. Today it is known for manufacturing high quality shoe brands. A shopping outing is a possibility in the outlets of the factories. This region has a growing tourist presence. Foreigners have begun buying properties, and many locals rent their houses out through Airbnb.
Our group will stay at the homes of locals. Eight houses in the village that are fully equipped with kitchen, bathrooms, washing machines, and have balconies overlooking the surrounding hills and beyond those, the mountain peaks that this time of the year are snow topped. In Monte San Pietrangeli, the weather is never too hot or humid and nights are balmy.
